The Linguacade AI Transparency Pledge (AITP)

We want you to know exactly how and where AI has been used by Linguacade so that you can be certain about the provenance of all content on this site and have complete assurance of our integrity. We believe that AI transparency will soon become a cornerstone of reliability for digital content creators, helping to separate those who have worked hard to produce their own human-generated content from those who have not. 

We hope that it will shortly be a requirement for content creators to provide honest and truthful information about their creativity processes so, in order to pre-empt future standardisation, we have created the AI Transparency Pledge (AITP), which is a commitment to provide an exact breakdown of how AI has been used by Linguacade. 

All personalised content (including the writing of all transcripts/articles, the spoken delivery of all podcasts, videos  and posts on social media and all copy on the Linguacade website) has been created by a human being. 

Instances where AI has been used:

  1. To generate the stock images for some of the individual lesson tiles.
  2. To double check spelling, grammar and punctuation of articles that have already been written, proofread and spellchecked by a human author.
  3. To request a second opinion on synonyms, words in similar families, idioms and collocations and to check the frequency of words and phrases.
  4. To create episode show notes the SEO description and an excerpt for individual episodes. In this connection, AI is always prompted to keep to the vocabulary used in the transcript, thus ensuring that the words and expressions created by the human writer are retained.
  5. To generate generic translations for words included in vocabulary lists.
